Outdoors Shop NAV error page assistant

I have the most irritating problem..............if I try to go to a webpage that for some reason or another can't be brought up, I get this stupid page with Shop NAV error page assistant coming up. I want to disable this thing cuz now it has decided that even though a web page has loaded, it will still load anyhow taking me away from the page I was trying to view. I would think from the initials, that it is somehow related to Norton Anti Virus..........I have IE6 and I looked through the internet tools to see if I could find something related to it there, but nothing refers to anything like that............I also looked in the msconfig/startup to see if there was a program I could disable that might be triggering this, but didn't see anything there, though I could have in my frustration with this, missed it............ any help would be greatly appreciated, as I had to post this from my g/f's computer cuz mine won't stay on the page long enough to type in a post........ (thank god she accepts my computer addiction and is cool with us each having our own puter!!!!)

Shop Nav

Well I hate to tell you this. Shop Nav comes back over & over. It doesn't matter how many times you uninstall it or reset the registry. Its some type of spyware. I even used that to remove it & it still comes back! Spybot won't remove it permantly either.

I'm having the same prob and I'm tired of it. It interfers. I've tried the uninstall and it comes back with and error and keeps right on coming back. Any ideas? I've thought of contacting shopnav but can't figure out how. HELP

I was having the same problem myself and I even tried to go to the srng.net to uninstall it, but I couldn't. However, I noticed this searchcentrix and so I went to searchcentrix.com and I followed their instructions for removing their software and now shopnav isn't coming up anymore. I was also having trouble with that nitrous.exitfuel virus and took care of that problem too by deleting
my temporary internet files!!
