Kids Photodeluxe in WIN2K?

I have an old version (Photodeluxe 2.0 Home Edition) that I've installed on my PC running WIN2K Pro. When I open the app, I get an error message saying "There is not enough memory to open Photodeluxe". Searching Adobe's support site showed this message in relation to problems on Macs. Is this version too old for WIN2K?

I am using version 1.0.1 on WinXP Pro, Works great for me. I don't have any ideas for your issue right now but I will look.

I'm using 2.0 Home edition on Win2k too.

How much memory do you have ? Have you installed Win2k service packs ?

Systems Nothin' logical here...

I am running 768 MB of RAM. The program will not work even when everything else is shut off. And, yes, I have installed SP3.

After considerable time searching Adobe's voluminous but poorly organized records, I have found numerous references to this problem in Win2K and WinXP, but no solutions for Win2K....

I own a copy of the business edition. If I can find it, I'll give it a try.

I know there is a setting for something called a Scratch-Disk in PhotoDeluxe. This might be the problem. Can you open PhotoDeluxe without opening up a picture? If so go to File/Preferences/Scratch-Disk and increase the amount of memory that PhotoDeluxe can use.
