Find: 9800PRO 256MB benchmarks
hey all, im having some trouble locating some benchmarks, maybe you can track 'em down for me.
im looking for benchmarks of the Radeon 9800PRO 256MB version [preferrably the DDR-II version] because im getting ready to create my rendering "pivot point" and need some real juice to be able to handle these animated 200,000+ polygon scenes. [lightwave 7.5]
in other words, is about 500 bucks going to be worth it when im trying to work and not crash so much.
or if one of you lucky son of a ....'s has one then gimme something to work with if you wouldn't mind [i.e. personal experience]
also, goldenbuddha, if you read this, would you mind telling me what you generally use for your scenes?
