Window Kits: Who's got LEXAN brand kit?

Who here has bought a lexan window kit online? is the plexi suppose to be scratch proof? Because I just noticed my window
is all scratched to hell. I have a 14x14 window that I have to replace. Yeah, I'm back in the game..

Actually, Plexiglass is harder than Lexan. Therefore, Plexi resists scratches more than Lexan. None of them are scratch proof, though. You can get a compound and polish to try to remove the scratches. I got some made by Novus from Cyberguys.com. I usually buy my Plexi locally, and make the windows myself.

Food

Yeah, you can get good plastic polish at motorcycle shops - made by Meguiar or something like that. They use it to polish scratches out of the face shields. You can also try toothpaste in a pinch. Lexan is bullet proof, not scratch proof - no such thing as scratch-proof plastic (except maybe teflon).
