the option not listed is post-midnight, pre-7am, local time. I'm a night owl (it's 4:20am here, woo hoo) and do most of my websurfing when the family isn't awake and fighting for the phone line.
as for the day, it really doesnt' matter for me...though weekends during summer are perfect.

Hahaha I agree I work night from 11pm to 7am I too snoop through the graveyard if ya know what I mean thats pretty much the time I be online once Im done with my work. See alot people are pretty smart on ebay not to let there auctions end near our time cause people like just wait to sieze the moment when no one looking or is asleep

Ha! Ha! thunderbolt.

Nothing bugs me more than auctions that finish at 3AM.
Or working hours. 7AM - 5PM Mon/Fri.

I buy stuff that finishes when I'm online.

6 - 9PM weekdays. Random times Sat / Sun.

How do you make an "impulse decision" at four in the morning?

Unless you are a NightOwl. [like you guys] ChrsR.

If you can stay up 'til 3AM, usually you can find some good deals.

I must say that I never paid attention to that. I bid the max amound I can afford and would pay for the item, then I wait.

Sniped ? Too bad, I will seek elsewhere. I don't check the time when auctions end, I'll receive an email if I win anyway. I only check the day it ends.

Agreed Buzoid.

But why would the seller choose that time to close the auction?

Because they didnt want a good price?

Baffles me. R.
