CD's saying its full and not reading?

Hi,

I just did a multi-session cd burn and now the cd came up one time saying that it was full and now it won't read the CD at all, just sits there like its hung? There was alot of space left and I also tried to read it on another computer. I can't get my info off the cd since it can't be read now. I was gonna try to see if maybe for some reason the session didn't close, but I can't seem to get it to read the cd. Any ideas?

THanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the response!

I was using Nero 5.5 and burning some MS Excel files to a cd. Multi-Session...

I also had a friend who was burning some Windows Word files to his cd and it did the same thing. He was using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.

Did you make sure that the CD was Finalized? Some people forget to check that setting and it doesnt finalize the CD.

Ummm..I can't say that I did...I always took it for granted that it would be checked.

Is there a way to get the info off the cd now?

THanks

Well if it wasnt finalized I doubt that you can. Now dont you have that session saved in your HD? To be honest with I ve always hated NERO to begin with had alot of problems with it. I just use CLick n Burn Pro man that lil program has never Never gave me any problems at all yet! But I dont know actually what to tell ya. Since it was finalized Which means the CD wasnt actually completely burned. Unless someone else can help on this. I never came across this with Clickn burn it always finalized the CD itself.
