Gaming You're NOT going to believe this

There's a brand new set of Klipsch Promedia 4.1's set up in MD1032's room RIGHT NOW.

Be quiet. I'm going to upload a pic for you right now! The thing that changed my mind was my price range. I can only afford a 4.1 setup, so it was the PM4.1's or the Logitech Z-560's. The problem is the 560's are always breaking and there's no way I'm going to run that risk again after my Z-540's fried. Plus, I like the tone and quality of the Klipsch speakers better. The 560 sub is a bit boomy.

which is pretty much what we (i and others) had told you. the promedias just deliver cleaner, more accurate sound, period.

the 4.1's have had their share of production problems before...they seem to be over that hump now. and klipsch provides some of the best post-purchase product support, so no worries there.

enjoy the speakers...

Balance is always a good thing!

Klipsch is known to provide good, uncolored sound reproduction. Nice set of speakers!

Enjoy them!

Ahh, yet another Klipsch user
IMO one of the best 'bang for the buck' speakers to be had.
Enjoy!

Here are the pics! Enjoy!

BTW, I give up. Klipsch sounds better. I admit it. I just kicked on The "Chips Ahoy" jazz theme song from that old commercial and MAN! It's cimply undescribable. It's so real...it's like I'm there! So balanced, I can't even hear the crossover to the sub! These things ROCK THE HOUSE!!! Man, they're simply undescribable. What a set of speakers. Logitech can kiss my butt BTW for producing speakers that are always breaking down. My last set of Z-540's was my last.

DONE! I have completed the re-wiring and here's the results:

Shot of the old room:

Shot of the old sub placement (wires everywhere). I couldn't even hear the thing.

Shot of the master speaker when it was on the right. I love this pic.

A shot of the new room:

A shot of the new sub placement:

A shot of my desk (what a mess!) on which you can see:
--Monitor
--Sony MZ-S1 portable minidisc player/recorder (YAY for minidiscs!)
--KSC-50 earphones (double as portable and home--they're that good!)
--Case to my Visor Edge PDA
--Minidiscs containing various music
--Joystick (Satiek Rumble Force...I use it left-handed even though I'm a righty!)
--Office supplies (various crap)
--Logitech Cordless optical mouse
--SPEAKERS!!! Notice the control pod had to be moved to the left because the cord was too short.

A closeup of the new sub placement. Look how much neater the wires are now...so much better! I even wrapped up the extra! I actually used the rear cords on the right-front and the right-rear and the front wires on the left-front and left-rear. Shouldn't make a difference, should it?

I haven't actually listened to it yet (my grandpa is over and I don't want to kill him or anything), but something tells me that it'll work!

edit: ONE WORD--AWESOME!! I just kicked in good old sing sing sing and in the mood and MAN it's GREAT!!! Man, The sub isn't directional in the least anymore! The room is evenly flooded with bass and it's great!!! It's so balanced it's unbelievable!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I can't even tell the bass is coming from the corner of my room, it sounds like it's RIGHT HERE. Unbelievable.

edit: fixed links. Yahoo's server is still down, so wait a bit.
