Using a scanner on a wireless network

Hey guys,
This is my first post. Anyway, I will be setting up a wireless network for my brother. Pretty simple, just one question. Will I need a separate type of "print" server for the scanner or can I just buy a 2 port print server. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am just guessing here as I have never tried it, but a parallell port scanner probably wont work via a print server. Also, I dont know of a way to share a scanner. I could be wrong tho.

Scanners are not generally able to be networked. What kind of scanner is it?

What I would suggest is that you set up a shared network drive for scanned pics that he can access, and always scan pics into that shared drive for him.

My Umax scanner has networking software with it. It doesn't plug into a network port, of course; it is a SCSI scanner.
