Does anyone have any suggestions on who gives the best free web hosting?

I'm not sure baout the 'best' but I can give you a few:
dot.tk
freeservers.com
geocites.com

thats all that I can think of at the moment. Also if you have any friends with websites(a domain one).. ask them to spot you like 10MB or so of space.. it's always nice.

good luck, and these sites are ad supported, so if you're planning on doing anything biz wise with them, you should break down and buy a domain and some webspace.

i have been using xmsites.com for a while and am pretty pleased with them. there arent frontpage extensions but if your just using html it should be fine.

I have used SPHosting as a backup for a couple years now and haven't ever had a problem. They allow hotlinking also.

i use doteasy (www.doteasy.com) they're free for a very stripped down host and you can add stuff (fontpage extensions and stuff) fo rsome $$ but i like 'em
