Mobo or HDD

if you had a decent mobo and a decent sized hard drive, and you had $$ to get a new one of one of the two, which would you get? new mobo or new hdd? trying to decide what to spend my $$ on...

I'm always running low on space, so I'd get a BIG HDD

In your case i would look to upgrade something that speeds my system performance or add quality to my PC in general..
Like faster CPU, more RAM, new set of speakers, better bigger screen, a fine color printer .......
Because if the MoBo is fast & stable, your HDD is fast and has a lot of space for your use, then you would be wasting your money for things that will not increase anything for you.

Happy shopping

well the thing is, i have a 40gb but it is full. i need a new cpu but in order for that i need a new mobo as my cpu is the highest that my mobo supports. im good on peripherials, all i really need is a new keyboard. so the only thing i NEED is a mobo and hdd. but i only have $$ for one or the other.

kinda loaded question since a mobo replacement wouldn't do anything w/o a cpu upgrade as well. hd or more ram would get my vote...a larger screen is gonna cost more than either the mobo or the hd.

Then get a second HDD.
Because:
1-You will get more space that you need now
2-You will avoid reinstalling your OS mess for the new MoBo
3-You will stop thinking that you can get a faster CPU for the new MoBo but you lack the cash
