this mobo is the best thing since transistors(as far as i can tell). im thinking of getting it. has everything i need and then some. $77 at newegg. have read some great reviews too. what u think?

Be wary... but for that price you can afford to buy a newy if it blows.
A friend sent back his aopen board for warranty after the caps blew on it. That was 6 months ago, they havent repaired it, or sent it back to him.

It is a good price but it isn't an "Awesome Mobo". The nForce2 boards get that distinction. Plus, I have heard to be concerned with Via chipsets. I would rather have a Chaintech N712F nForce2 board with integrated video and audio (mATX size) for $99 or an Epox EP-8RDA+ for the same price.

I love my Asus A7N8X motherboard. It has been rock solid since I have pulled it out of the box. I had a buddy that went with a motherboard that had the KT400 chipset and he said he was the worst decision he made. After a week of random crashing and messing with everything under the sun to get it stable he sent it back for a full refund and got the Asus board. I think the one he tried was the new Gigabyte board.
