Old School Notebook, need help....

Hey Guys,
This morning, I was given an old school laptop that is now a new project of mine. My father, an elementary school teacher, came in and handed me a laptop they had sitting in the storage for years. The only information I have on it is this:

-It is labeled as a Leading Edge D/LT386SX. (I have no more information on the make or model).
- It's a 386SX with a 16MHz processor. (Screaming, eh?)
-It posts 1.4MB RAM and I believe has a 40MB HDD (so much for installing Diablo).

Thing is...I need some information on this...I've cracked it open and did a general search, but have not had any luck in finding parts for it minus a battery in germany. I have the AC adaptor for it, but the CMOS battery is fried, no problem, I'm gonna see about a new one. I'm thinking if worse comes to worse, it's gonna have Slackware Linux on it. It also has an expansion for a modem on the side.
So, if any of yall techheads out there can give me any information, I would really apprecitate it.
Cheers,
Bhoberg.

Thanks AzKidd69, I wrote the webmaster of the site and hope to have some feedback soon from him. Not sure what I can slap on a 16MHz machine, but it's worth a shot.
Thanks,
bhoberg
