pc game processing speed?

first post hope this is the right forum....

I have played novalogics delta force series.....their soon to be released game was originally slated to need processing speed of 500 minimum......now on their site it says 733 required.....

now I realize I have a dinosaur here......p3 566......all other aspects of pc have been increased.....vid card.....ram.....etc all exceed requriements......will this 566 run this game if 733 is on the box?

if not as is.....can a cpu of this type be tweaked to run the game?

im not too sure about if it will work too good with the current cpu u have or not, but u could try to over clock the cpu. oh and could u please give us ur full system specs?

I just ran a search on overclocking my processor.....here is what it said......

simply change the devault voltage from 1.65v to 1.75v to have it running at 850.....

does that sound real and if so.....how do I do this?

question may sound simple.....but look at my name.....lol

if that is indeed correct....will an alteration such as that likely be enough to be dangerous to the machine?.....such as running to hot......or would that normally be safe barring any unforseen problem

what temp is your cpu and system running at now?

your bios will tell you what your temps are, but you would be better off using programs like motherboard monitor or mbprobe or hmonitor (although these might not work depending on your system). Run a search on google to get the download locations for these.

But Black Hawk Down uses the commanche 4 engine and it was heavily cpu dependant. So even if you do overclock your system it still might not run very well. But heres hoping as Im very interested in that game as well.
