My computer icon is broken!!!

The "Me Lads" icon? All of that stuff can be changed in the registry. Try searching through the registry if you want to fix it.

Just search for Me Lads and change them back to Network Neighbourhood.

Don't need to dig through the registry to change that, All ya gotta do is right click on the icon and select rename and then rename your icon back.

I changed that. Me lads and Mr. Computer. Look at the picture of the My computer icon. I want to keep it as is.

Have you tried to restart the computer? Maybe the color of the keyboard will go back to normal.

IMO, that little screwup is so miniscule, I wouldn't even have noticed it if I hadn't been looking for it (which took about half a minute! ).

Well of course you could do the old "Active desktop" ploy.

you can change the icon if you want.
Just go to

Desktop
right click
properties
effects tab and then change it, that is for 98se, not sure of 2k or xp.
