As long as the card is PCI (I'm assuming you need a PCI card?), it should work. I put a Radeon 7500, about the same class as the GF2, in a P2-266 and it works fine. Of course, it's still a P2 so there are other bottlenecks in the system which prevent getting the best use of that card.

Hello. Welcome to TechIMO.
You should check your motherboard manual to see if you have an AGP slot and with what specification it is (1.0, 2.0, etc.).
If you don't have an AGP slot, you have to use a PCI slot. If that's the case, it will probably work because PCI specs haven't changed in a long time.

I got a AGP slot but i don't know what is the spec(1.0,2.0..etc)
Also if the gforce can be used should i buy the 32MB or the 64MB?
Thanks again guys!

This is the information for your specific Motherboard Chipset:

ftp://download.intel.com/design/chip...s/29056402.pdf

I suggest you go with an AGP card if the card supports the specifications listed on the link I provided. AGP is faster than PCI so it would be the better choice. But if you plan to go on PCI, you'll probably be assured more compatibility.
About 32 and 64MB, 64 will be better if you are going to be playing games but your system will not be able to handle complex games anyway because of your CPU bottleneck. But if you want the card just for surfing and doing your work, 32MB will be sufficient.!

if u got agp, go for the ti4600 128mb(it has the same amount of memory as ur comp, and if you compare cpu to gpu, the 4600 is 34 mhz faster)MWAHAHAHHA

think the gf2mx is gonna be more than fast enough for your machine. Perhapse even too good for the rest of it. No point spending much money on a video card upgrade for that machine.

Dont think the machine is fast enough to see any benifit of speed from agp over pci to be honest.

Get a decent very cheap 2nd user card dont waste your money on anything fancy.

I think you should go with the pci version so that you be assured compatibility.
Or you could go with an Ati PCI (they give supposedly better picture quality! ).
