Mohaa, try to connect and servers time out. (they ping good)

I am patched to 1.1.

it was working earlier in the week.

Now when ever I try to connect to a server in mohaa I get a server time out.

My firewall is the same as always. The only thing I can think of changing during that time was I removed my evaluation copy of Norton anti virus.

I connect fine to my dedicated server on the old spare machine.

but external never seems to hear me

any ideas.

I have not tried to un install re install but I have re patched it.

check for new patch...I have 1.11
Also, are your running the spearhead expansion...it has a new patch as of 3/12.

sorry I shortened it a bit 1.1 is really 1.11 afaik. I have tried to hit dozens of servers in both gamespy and alike and not gotten a single one to work.

my friends have not patched up beyond my patch and they still work on my server and abroad.

The onlything I can think of is something got tooked out when I removed NAV.

Oh yea no spearhead either.

I just like to know what happened is all.

I work in an industry where the old power cycle is employed alot but it always buggs me that the old pwr cycle was need in the first place.

Well I set my router for DMZ
No go

I re-installed NAV

No go

de and Re-installed MOHAA and patched back to 1.11

NO GO


Help I also think I see that the firewall is not enabled in xp pro.

I am at a loss.

Wierd.

I got it working but I am confused by the why of it.

I had the ip addresses reversed on the router forwarding table

remove all firewall software, is it possible to plug ur internet connection in ur pc without it goin throught the router other than that its either ur line/isp or format ur hard drive lol 1 of them will make it work lol
