Kids Opinions of Soyo Dragon...

Just purchased a Soyo Dragon KT 400 Ultra (with RAID) motherboard, supports AMD Socket A, DDR RAM, yada yada...

Thought I'd see what some of you more experienced techies thought about it, compared to the MSI KT3 Ultra2 (RAID), DDR RAM, etc...

All opinions welcome. I am building my next system with one of these two, using two 80GB HD's with 1GB DDR RAM (PC2700 - 333MHz) and for now an XP1800 (1.53GHz) CPU. Other suggestions welcome also!!!

Thanks,

Al

KT400a's was just announced yesterday, and boards with this chipset should be looming around the corner.

A tweaked memory controller is one of the few things they added to this revision. As of right now, boards with the Nforce2 chipset perform much better than KT400 boards, and the KT400a looks to fix that.

Soyo makes no mention of it, but theres this link with a picture of the Soyo KT400a near the bottom, so I think its safe to assume a Soyo KT400a board is emminant.
