Latest Ref file(AdAware) remove Alexa spyware

At www.lavasoftusa.com, the latest Ref file named referencefile 142-24.11.2001, removed this from IE

Alexa key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\internet explorer\extensions\{c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}\

It's an internet explorer extension? Anyone with info about this please tell.

HERE is a good link to find out some info on DLL's.
I also found this on a google search. HEREand HERE

M$ only shows this used in IE 5.5 and up. But it is in office200 and some other programs also. On the first link go there and type in the dll and then click on more info in the lower part of the page. It will tell what M$ programs use it.

Sounds real good to me, makes me kind of homesick for PhoenixNet.

Not as serious for sure, but troublesome to me anyway.

I let AdAware delete it and don't see any ill effcts so far.

I just took it out by hand. Made a backup of it first. I'm going to reboot and see it windows rebuilds it.
Well I didn't turn this box into a smokeing pile so. It didn't rebuild the file eather. I can live without that file I guess.
