How do i remove my I/O plate?

I'm preping my case, i want to put my motherboards I/O plate in, but how do i take my case's plate off?

Usually they just pop out when you apply enough force (in towards the case), unless there are visible screws to remove.

sorry to hear that. I don't know, what type of case do you have? With most of the cases that I have used the I/O panel just pops out and you pop in the one that comes with the m/b or have screws holding them in place.

might want to try using the back end of the screw driver and give it a firm tap.

I have a chieftek alumium workstation...

Now i can't type well as i cut my pointer finger


I've used my pocket knife but no luck. I don't want to force it...

Ok, I have the same type of case at home. I'm almost certain it is a pop out face plate. And what the hell are you doing using a knife Anyway, don't worry about forcing it...it needs a little bit of force to come off. Tap with back of screwdriver until it starts to come out.
