Altec Lansing ATP3

I got money to burn! So instead of saving it up for gas money, or college or anything else even remotely smart, I'm buying a new set of speakers! I already have a 2.1 little system by Boston Acoustics/ Gateway, but i want more power!!! I stopped by Best Buy today and they have these speakers for $80 but with $40 in rebates. I don't really mind rebates, and these speakers look kind of cool. They don't have a display out, though.

Your thoughts on Altec Lansing's ATP3 2.1 speakers?

I was considering the ATP3 at Best Buy myself. I listened to some the other day and they sounded pretty good. Also check out the Logitech Z-340, which are probably better and cost about the same as the rebate price for the ATP3.

my roommate has a pair and I included a 2.1 Altec Lansing set in the last build I did for a freind. They have nce sound indeed. I beleive they are owned by JBL and I'm sure you have heard of them

How much money? The ZTP3 is a nice set. The sub isn't that great, but the tweeters are really clear and the towers have down-firing mid-range drivers!! They are only 30 bucks at Best Buy!! Tell me how much money you have to burn. I WILL find the best speaker system for you.
