SDram is the module name (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory) SDR is Single Data Rate, DDR is Double Data Rate. so the 2 types are

SDR SDram
DDR SDram.

Often SDR SDram is listed as just SDram, (Since it was the original )

SDR = Single Data Ram

DDR = Double Data Ram

Right?

Thanks Wizzard
I knew someone would be able to explain this better than I could.
Not to big on memory other than the obvious.

It's usually called DDR SDRAM (as opposed to SGRAM on graphics cards, I guess). I'm not sure how synchronous it is, but I guess it shows the difference between it and RDRAM.
