Gaming I need a messenger popup stopper?

There must be a ms messenger pop-up stopper somewhere...any ideas gang.??

don't just stop the service, next time you reboot it will come right back.

start --> run --> services.msc

find "Messenger" service, and set it to Manual, then stop the service that way it won't come back.

Yeah it does now, didn't have it when it started, nor when it shipped with SP1, but lately its been happening... sad.... thats why everyone should move on and use
