Systems Dazzle DVC80 Locks Up PC

I have a problem with my PC locking up every time i try to capture video with my usb dazzle DVC80. I have a 667mhz celeron, 384mb ram, on board video, SB sound card, usb cable modem, cdrom, cdrw. I've tried MGI, ULEAD Videostudio 6 & DVD Factory, Virtualdub, Honestech MPG recorder, & a couple others i can't remember the names of. The honestech capture is the only one that comes close to working. It will record for 2-3 minutes then it will lock up everything. I had a thought that putting in a PCI usb 2.0 card would help, but i'm just unsure. I'm just wanting to record VHS to VCD, but can't seem to capture it.

Sounds like maybe you're running out of virtual memory. Which version of Windows are you using?

IMO I never found the DVC80 to do a very good job of trying to record a whole movie. I spent $80 on it a while ago and the only thing Ive got it to well, Is convert my vhs camcorder into a web cam.

Its due to the USB, I think.
Ive tried it on a 1.0ghz, 640mb RAM windows98/windowsME/windowsXP and still never really did a good job.

I dont think it supports USB 2.0 so it wouldnt help to upgrade, I think (Let me know if Im wrong)
