what program are you using to do mult desktops? | It's the default program that comes with XP. To access it right click on the taskbar and click toolbars/desktop manager. You now are presented with a green button (takes you to the screen I showed), and 4 numbered blue buttons which take you to each desktop. Its always worked kinda bugy for me, plus it doesn't have some features like right clicking on a window and having the option of "Send to/desktop 1, 2 ect...". I don't know if other multiple desktop managers have that, but I thought that idea up, and would really like it implemented.

Just to clear something up that "quote" of specs was just a joke. No truth to it, at least not yet

Perhaps you need to go to ad remove components and install it from the list of optional windows components.

You can get it here...it's the Virtual Desktop Manager: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp |

Yes, Thhe multiple desktops thing is part of the Powertoys Package - it's not in the default install. And don't expect too much from it - I thought it royally sucked..
I'm just curious to know if what the hardware requirements for this beast are going to be... XP's the biggest Hog of an OS I've ever seen...

I honestly think that the Pallidium hardware/software is crap, It's not even due till 2005 and that's about 3years away though as far as I'm concrened if this Pallidium crap go through consider myself and all the people I know fulltime Linux gurus,
And of course this give Linux 3 years to develop and extra easy platform for everyone to use.
