LCD Screen cleaner ???

Several products are ok to use on CRT's ,, however the LCD's are reputed to be sensitive to many products.

Kleer Screen is supposed to be good for LCD's except that Sony Vaio do not suggest using this product..

ideas ?

I use just plain rubbing alcohol on my LCD's. Hasnt ruined them ... YET <keyword>. I believe that there are wipes that are specifically for LCD's, but I dont know what they are.

Rubbing alcohol is what you are supposed to use. Works great! I would stay away from glass cleaner as it may have damaging chemicals in it.

I use the generic rubbing alcohol you get at the pharmacy. $2 for a years supply.

But I heard there are some good anti-static ones - they keep the dust off the screen.

Anti-Static wipes are not always glass cleaners. They can smear a dirty screen real bad.

I use alcohol as well for my LCD screen.

i found an organic cleaner w/ no chemicals that I use on everything. LCD's (customer's, I don't have any ) CRT's and just about anything else thats sensitive. Its called Kleen - o or something like that. As long as you don't use ANY chemicals I think you should be fine.

I use alcohol also, sometimes eye glass cleaner. Just don't use anything with ammonia . They say don't use ammonia on anything but plain (uncoated) glass windows.

yes!
Glass cleaner is bad for both LCD's and CRT's. I wouldnt have known this before today but I just saw last nights episode of the screen savers on techTV and they said that regular glass cleaner can take off some of the special chemical coatings that make the monitor non-reflective.
