please help

ok, friend has 2x agp GF2 video card, and his mobo has a 1x slot, it was made when the existence of 2x was unknown. his mobo is an ASUS P2B Slot1 350Mhz processor, and has win98 installed on a 30gig hd. he installed the drivers in 98, and it said that they were the wrong drivers for the card, and it wont let him change any of the res. settings or anything because that error came up. is this just a win98 problem? agp slot problem? or processor speed? thanks in advance.

go into device manager and look under display adapter for the card and reinstall or update driver.
