Seamless image around a table?

I have a gradient image that I want to have inside of a table that appears to be seamless. I cant figure this out. Its like a little border that goes inside of a table and then in the border I will put content in. I hope ya get what I mean.

Edit...Its almost like this...Razor. If you look at the little table that are on the left and right side of the page you see a box w/ content inside. Id like to know how to make this. I have Dreamweaver btw
