Question about "Extended Memory Handler."

Hewlett-Packard Vectra VE
440BX chipset
Pentium2 @ 450MHz
256 Megs RAM (2X128)

Hard Drive Manager Deluxe returns the message, when booting from floppy, "ERROR: FOUND AN EXTENDED MEMORY HANDLER! REBOOT COMPUTER WITHOUT XMS DRIVER!"

How do I boot from a floppy without loading the XMS Driver?
