Labtec Webcam and BSODs

Just installed a Labtec USB webcam on my Athlon XP2000, K7S5A, 512Mb DDR, GF2 MX200 system. Installed the drivers ok, plugged in the camera, great everything working. Later on I rebooted and got a BSOD with the following message:-

"MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS" then further down
"0x0000044 (0x81D50768, 0x00001B90, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

It only happens if I reboot with the webcam plugged in. If I plug it in after booting it works fine.

Anyone help?

I found this

Were the drivers compatible (I'm assuming it a ntfs system) That's what every search result points to. Maybe look up some different drivers, uninstall, and install again from disk. maybe update the MOBO drivers.

here's the google I did

Hope that helps

Sorry, yes Windows XP Pro. Mobo drivers are up to date, Labtec driver disc was XP compatible (so it said), and indeed the webcam does work, but only if I plug in after startup. I'll see about new drivers for it though. Cheers.

D'OH! Just ran Windows Update and found a new driver. I'm just off to bang my head really hard against a brick wall.
