Microsoft's exorbitant, extortionist licensing schemes are finally coming home to roost.

Good article.
Unlike some that I've read, I dont think it was overly biased but stating cold hard facts

Nice.. thanks for the read!

I agree...

...we pulled all the 8088's and put in XP-1800's, now they run a lot faster...

I was gonna say.........

I thought UNIX was about as good as linux, just far more expensive. I thought M$ was the dog in the group. BTW, why is M$'s software so bad? I thought they recruited the best and the brightest? Is this not true, or do they simply try to develop things too quickly and that's why it sucks.

It's not their quality I can't stand, it's their direction of policy that enrages me. MS does come up with some supreme software. I can't argue with that, as I use a ton of it daily. But this giving theirself administrative rights to YOUR computer is insane bullcrap. I use Linux, and think it is slightly substandard to MS right now...BUT, I'm new to the software, and I thought much of the same about MS (and still do, except for Win2K...I like that one).

What was I going to rant about? I fergot...oh yeah. I will be happy to help in the financial STOMPING of MS because of their new NAZI tactics in an attempt to man-handle piracy. Software quality just left the building, as it is now irrelivant.
