IE 6.0 with windows 2000

I always have to type stuff like my name etc at sites which i usually visit instead of clicking on the information which is stored and held when you focus on the textbox. It used to work in Windows ME but not 2000. How can i get the info to be stored and then come up so i can click on it?

in IE go to tools>internet properties>content>click auto complete>and click what you want to save

click on >tools>internet options>content, then hit the "auto complete",set what you want to use here and see if that works.
