Note to ATTBI customers...

If you have a cable Internet connection through ATTBI then you might be pleasantly surprised by this news.

My upstream speed is now 300kbps!

Prior to today the upstream speed has always been capped at 128kbps. This is a very nice surprise.

If you're with ATTBI and this increased up speed hasn't happened yet in your area, I bet it will soon. I've been hearing about this from people in Washington & Oregon for a few weeks now but it only just now has affected my area.

Capped at 1.5Mbit (which is a whole 'nother issue entirely. It used to be uncapped and reach speeds up to 8Mbit. But don't get me started.)

I've seen some people at DSLReports say they had to power-cycle their modem (just unplug it for 30 seconds) to have it reset to the new speeds. So those of you that haven't seen a speed change you may as well give that a shot.

yea, ATTBI increased the upload speed but they are now raising prices to internet access effective June 2nd in some areas.
