Systems Hard drive Advice

Hey all
I"ve spent some time looking at the forum here and I still can not decide on a HD. BTW my IBM 13.5 GIG HD's are still running 24/7 no problems but these are older 25GXP models. So in light of blue's recent problems I need advice. 60 GIG Min.
Thanks in advance
RTw

I don't exactly get what you wanted us to advice you. but if you are looking for HD that runs 24/7, well you can choose from 5400 and 7200 rpm drives, ata66 and ata100 drives and manufacturers like seagate and maxtor.

I would highly recommend MAXTOR drives. I have several here, and they have never missed a beat.

Brand name
What's hot what's not (this in the area of performance and dependability) Last HD I bought was 2 years ago when IBM was considered the best IDE drive.
Thanks again

I have ran a Seagate Barracuda (In this case a 40gig) since their inception of that device 24/7 with no problems....nice and quiet drives...I would recomend checking out THG for some pretty good reviews. cheers!
