Alexa Now Installs With MS Update !
Ran my weekly scan of AdAware last night and find the Alexa spyware (Trojan) and could not figure out where it came from.
Only one prog has been added to this box in 6mths except for MS
updates. I figured nahhhhh, not Bill G...... Emailed the programs developers who swore it wasn't them.
Decided to check a several boxes I just built ( running W2K, and XP) clean installs, new hd's, only added service packs and windows updates. Put AdAware in 1st and bingo there's Alexa.
How much info does Bill need ?
This one has pissed me off.
OK Rant over. But MS is definitely going overboard now.
Ha !......Just got email from the progs developer who say's it's all over several new boxes they built with only OS installed...guess whose OS it is ???

I changed it back to English and it opened in German again, I had to change it back 3 times before it worked.
