There's an adventure game website I like to visit called Four Fat Chicks (these women have a sense of humor!). Lately, when I've gone there, I get somehting like the following before every new page:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Java Script Error
Description: Syntax error
Source:
http://fourfatchicks.com/cgi-bin/ult...c;f=2;t=000180
Line:2
I'm able to move around the site--I just have to deal with a message like this before every page. The only other things in the notice are an "OK" button, and a red "X" in the upper right corner, for closing the thing. I posted on the forum that I was encountering this problem, and received the following reply:
"Hey Angela, are you still there? I have talked to the UBB people about your problem, but they seem to think it's on your end. They say: "In IE, it is possible to get more details on script errors. Usually by double clicking in the bottom left hand corner (there's usually a JS error message there you can double click) it will pop up more information." If you could do that and report back the exact error message, that would be helpful. Thanks! "
I don't know how to respond to this, except to say that I've provided all the information I know how to access about the script error. Can anyone here help me out with advice regarding what I should do next? This problem is irritating. I use Win XP HE and Internet Explorer. TIA
Angela
