I went to Crucial to buy some PC2700 DDR RAM but they didn't have any!!! Mushkin (on NewEgg) to the rescue!!!

look at local stores like best buy, compusa. see something i like, then I have 2 friends that have computer stores and they will order for me and sell to me at their price & $5. It has worked out for me just great.

from any surplus shops. but i don't buy computer hardware there, i buy things like fans (all sizes), screws, pc modification tools, cables.
