excactly..when is the last time you out-typed microsoft word?
or the last time you out-listened your mp3

adn anohter thing...i never understood why we have a 64bit PCi bus, but no one used it? It dosent cost more to make. i see where SCSi drives cost a little more but if they took the place of IDE drives were talking about a few dollars in price difference. I guess i just have a hard time understanding most technology manufactures product linup. Why arent all harddrives 7200 RPM? instead of making 1 dollar or the 5400 and 2 dollars off the 5200 why not just make 1.50 off all your drives? I just dont get it.

I would like to play the games the makers of these machines play, it would have to be awesome. These people don't play run of the mill games, or use everyday software. They have games that aren't going to hit the market for a couple of years yet prolly. I would like to know what is going on inside the MS software development room.

What sells to one customer wont sell to another customer. I believe they think they are "giving" thier customers choices/options. Not everyone wants or needs scsi, a CDRW, ETC. In other words their product line tries to sell the the MOST customers not just a certain set.
