If you're gonna be dealing with customers - bring a lot of patience.

Besides screwdrivers, antistatic wriststrap, and a flashlight, I would definitely get a retriever tool with mechanical fingers.

Yeah I always have a maglight (some el-cheapo imitation, but it emits light and thats whats important). I also have a set of small pliers I got from home depot for pretty cheap. (set of 6 for $9 or something). The ones I use there are the thin nose pliers to pick stuff up and the diagonal pliers to cut off sharp steel edges on cases and ends of zip ties that I tie wires together with.

Thanx again all who replied. I'm off to Home Depot right now to pick up some tools and a mini-maglite. (The Mag-lite I have right now is a police model only good for clubbing crooks over the head with) As far a having patience goes, I'm used to it. I was in hardware sales for a few years, and because everyone I worked with knew I was good with this stuff, I was the guy they had their customers call instead of our in house pc tech. I spent more time doing support than selling stuff. Unfortunatly I did not get paid more for it, so I figured it was time to move on, and here I am now with this new job. Thanks all!!!!!
