4 Layer DDR RAM on Win XP???

Will 4 layer DDR RAM work on Windows XP Pro? This is a quote from a memory manufacturer:

512MB PC2100
Module Board · 4 Layer
Recommended for Windows XP/2000 · No
It only recommends 6 Layer Module Boards for Win XP...

Is this accurate?

I think they're full of *deleted*. Sorryto use such words, but the ram layers dont matter when it comes to the os, any ram will work as long as it hasn't been popped(zapped by a emd), and well, it still works, your're good. Can i get a linky? My dad is using mushkin ram btw, if im not mistaken, its 4 or 5 layered, i need someone to clearify this.

edit2-He's using MUSHKIN DDR 512MB PC-2700 from newegg which is 6 layered. In my personal system, im using cheap ol kingston value ram
