Not "going down" but making some changes that affect your use as you know it...

Someone else posted a link to MyRealBox.com and I registered with them just to see what it was all about. So far I like it. I have been redirecting my mail there for a couple of days now and I have not had any problems. They claim to have no spam plus you get 10 MB of space. They also let you have POP, SMTP, and IMAP. Sounds good to me.

I like the way it looks....I just hope they make it.

I like mail.com because of the multiple domains:
"Choose from over 100 E-mail addresses, including usa.com, europe.com, doctor.com, techie.com, engineer.com, and cheerful.com. "

I think they still have free (ad based) email. I signed up for their prem service when they switched to charging for prem services. I think I paid $14 yr to forward email + no ads. Just no ads may be cheaper. Although, some of their premium services are kind of high IMO. I only use it as a permanent email address, so I don't use it much.

But, if you're easily entertained with the choice of different domains like me, it's nice.

How has Hotmail changed? As far as I know they have always had a 2Mb limit, offered plenty of free spam and provided a decent service. Big deal, they close your account after 30 days of not signing in. If you cant get to a PC at least once a month then you dont need it. Can you imagine how many accounts get opened and never used?

They are pushing a paid service for $20.00 a year, but everything else is still pretty much the same.
