I detest the new morpheus. I couldn't d/l anything from anywhere. It'd find 7 hosts who had the file I wanted and then spend 30 minutes trying to connect them. So scratch that, I'm running Grokster now. Did an adaware scan afterwards, and it only found 3 components of spyware after the install (I selected no to everything I could during the setup). Grokster looks exactly like Morpheus used to.

First of all, The address you have for Music City has a comma, which shouldn't be there, and second of all, that is for Music City, not Morpheus, the second address is for Morpheus.

Hmmm...I tried to remove the spyware from Grokster (using Adaware), but Grokster refused to woerk afdter that. So now "I havespyware oon my PC. O well...

Actually both are for Morpheus. BTW I have more luck with audiogalaxy. Finds it all and has reasonable downloadspeeds. You have to uncheck Gator at install or else you get adware installed.

For now I am waiting till version 2.0 comes out and will give Morpheus a try again. The combination of the gnutella network (like limewire/bearshare) and the FastTrack network (Morpheus 1.x, Kazaa, Grokster) makes it a powerfull search engine in theory. Let hope it works too in real life.

I used to use www.bearshare.com with great success. I havent used it in several months because I am without broadband access. It has always beeb a favorite of mine. Unless they have changed it, spyware was an option during installation.
