Using XP pro with morpheus pe with no problems and normally running a selective install of kazaa with the dummy cydoor files along side morpheus. they are 2 seperate entities now.

if anyone needs the dummy cydoor files for kazaa pm me.

About the spyware...

Morpeus has a stated policy that no spyware will be used by them (or installed, whatever). Just thought that it should be mentioned. Look at thier mainpage for the link...

I got the new version working on my XP box but have to say that I am unimpressed. It seems that once a download attempt has timed out that is it and you have to manualy try to find it again. May be wrong here but only managed to download a few files. Hate the new interface. The old won was sleek enough and this new one is definately a triumph of style over substance. Pity really.

I used to like morpheus, until the new version came out.

The new version is plainly a huge POS. You cant pick what type of file you wish to search for, and hardly any downloads ever start for me with it. I now use edonkey and sharereactor for divx movies, and audiogalaxy for mp3s.

I tried using the Morpheus preview edition on my windows XP machine and it is crap, it uses the gnutnella interface or somethign like that.

It wouldn't even search correctly, it sux0rs.

Try KaZaA, it's just like the old morpheus plus I get really fast downloads and can find exactly what I am looking for.

I have used the new version, and it has not impressed me. It works yeah, but no where near as well as it had in the past.

i've tried kaazaa its nothing but a virus catcher morf is so so slow my personal fav is winmx but you gotta down load the extra servers at trippymx as a matter of fact you can get them both at www.trippymx.com ibelieve
