First off go into command prompt or run/cmd. type ipconfig/all and you should get all your ip info. If this is empty you need to roll back your drivers to a previous version in order to get back online, you were online in order to get the wrong drivers for your system. It seems to me if it worked before with drivers the new ones are not correct.
Another possibility is that you need to connect to a network/internet via control panel/network settings.
