msPaint file association problem

Additional, those graphics filter files will prb'ly need registered in the SharedDlls key:

Again, the file "path" may be different on each machine. The D-word number is AFAIK the number of apps that share the file. W/these filters I can get Mspaint.exe to open .jpg, .tif, .gif, & .pcx files.

dude... http://harmware.com/sTile.htm and click Download sTile Version 2.6 HarmTile.zip - 808kb and unzip it, then run it, open the pic you need, hit save as, and it will save it as a Jpeg

Solution by Talamone it' s correct.
I' ve only had to change the path into:

" C:\\Progra~1\\Common~1\\micros~1\\Grphflt\\JPEGIM3
2.FLT".

I've had the problem after installing Office 2000.
Now it's ok

I had the same probelm except I couldn't even save to gif either, I will try irfanview

You beat me to it. Just type in the file name, and jpg see if that works. Like this filename.jpg> save. Always works in 95 98 and XP. Maybe that simple

Well several days later. I got this resolved and CD's trick did the job. I just did clean install and still didn't have jpeg abilities so applied CD's suggestions and installed some other graphic filters and all works like a charm now.
