Today for an upgrade ..

<edit> .. yep .. the upgrade is for the Pro version .. so i have nothing to do with it ..

Ummm I think that is ZoneAlarm PRO 3.0 is available.. Zonealarm free version is still 2.6

Isn't this the firewall software that everyone has one heck of a time uninstalling???? I have heard some nightmares about Zone Alarm.....

I downloaded and installed it on one of my machines yesterday morning. The new user interface takes some getting used to, but the integrated cookie and ad control features are a welcome improvement.

ZoneAlarm is generally easy to set up, and trouble free. I've had my share of problems getting ZA Pro 2.6 to work properly with Windows XP and Netmeeting, but I think that's more because of my lack of knowledge about XP. I suspect version 3 will have better native support for the new Windows
