HELP!! dilema in registering new PC

I just bought a new Gateway desktop yesterday. I bought it new in the box from a girl who received it as a gift for Christmas. I read through the warranty information when I got home, and it states that the warranty only applies to the original purchaser, and is non-transferable. I want to register it on Gateway's web site, but I'm not sure what to list under the "purchase location" part. The options are: from a store, from Gateway, received as a gift, bought from previous owner or "other". As you know, you must register a new pc to obtain the free customer support and to begin the 1 year warranty. How should I list this pc when registering it? I certainly don't want to lose the warranty and free support.

Sounds like received as a gift should be a good option.
