He bought it on 15 June and the monitor arrived 2 days ago
Now the problem is the monitor was not in the NEC labeled
package,it was USPS box (he told me they had some problems)
with the size and he agree to remove the origirnal package.
He bought the unit from Nerds.net and send it via USPS

The unit is quite damaged and looks like used
I'm thinking more and more that he sent me refurbished

Welcome Dude...

I am sorry for your troubles! This is not TheNerd.Net forum....

This is resellerratings.com. over

BTW, the private messaging has been disabled...

There rating is much too low to buy from and the item you ordered was $100 less at the reliable New Egg...

Dear psyside

Here is some information below about the monitor you may be writing about.

There are two (2) 24" NEC Monitors with similar names but not exactly the same as the NEC2490-BK-SV .

Did you leave out WUXI in the name?

Both are very expensive monitors, even when buying from the United States in American Dollars.

Today most 24" LCD computer monitors in USA sell for $200 --to- $650 range. Some high technology monitors sold to users with special monitor needs, can sell for $1000 or more, such as some Lacie and NEC monitors.

The reason for the high cost is this monitor is sold as a "professional " monitor for people interested in Graphics and Color an d a special monitor to use with Adobe Paintshop.

The BK-SV Mmonitor also comes with special software to correct the color (calibrate) to make sure the color is accurate. It also comes with another expensive thing, which is the color calibration measuring device to place on screen when doing the calibration.

It is NOT advertised by Nerds.net.com as "Refurbished.

Did the monitor you received come with the receipt?
This is very important because this monitor also comes with a four (4) year WARRANTY. Most monitors come with only one year and some with 2 or 3 yerars Warranty.

Did you receive the WARRANTY papers and card?

Did anybody advise you to buy this monitor?

The best box to ship a monitor is the one it came with because it is designed to hold the Monitor without moving around in the box while it is shipped.
Also, putting the NEC box in a second box is also helpful to prevent damage. If the monitor was not put in a good package so it would not move around this can cause it damage. Also, it is smart to keep the box so you can ship it back if needed.

First look for allthe things you should have received.
If you did not receive A) the receipt,B) the warranty paper and card,C) the software CD, and D)the NEC calibration device {Colorimeter), some thing is not right.

Then talk to your friend in Chicago if he knows anything to do with these things.

Look at them carefully.
If you are satisfied that your friend did not have anything to do with your problem, then contact the company to satisfy yourself you have been treated honestly.

I have enclosed the web address of the Company below along with the information about these monitors.

Best luck,
MegalosSkylaki

First of all thanks for your replay highly appreciated!

Yesterday i talk with NEC online chat, and their agent confirm the monitor is
new, just to make sure i called Thenerds.net, and give them the order number
so they can confirm its new.The guy told me the monitor is new based on
order number so guess it was not fraud, still i have to find out why the monitor
original package was replaced with awful box whitout stryrofarm at sides
or any protection on it!!! All parts of the monitor was put in one
plastic bag so they where hiting during the transport and the monitor
is quite damaged and "drity" However what makes me fell really bad!

Is the fact i didn't recive warranty list,or any card just an user manul for
what i was told by nec agent that it include the warranty (strange)
I'm not sure that he understand me what i was asking for (my poor english)
The monitor have wuxi in its name no doubt. No receipt was included.

Items included in the package:

1.Cables
2.Spectraview II kit.
3.Adjustable Stand.
4.User Manual.
5.Monitor

Now after i found out that the monitor is new im almost sure(90%)
One more thing i wan't to know is how does USPS treat
damaged items? how does their refund system works,do they cover
the whole damage (full refund) or only % of the unit cost was insured.
Express mail ineternational, the guy who sent the unit paid 100$
So based on that i wan't to know will i recive new unit, or they will
cover the damaged lets say with 200/300 $? Please someone
explain me about USPS, refund system im desperate

Many thanks to all who answered me esspecally,MegalosSkylaki

Side

This has nothing do with the USPO or any other shipping company.

What I suspect, was that you were sold a returned item, also called "an Open Box Item."

This should have been stated as such and with out that, would in my opinion constitute fraud.

I would contact the Nerds and tell them that, you demand a complete refund or an adjustment of your purchase price.

BTW, tell them you are currently a member of RR and are doing a review and a thread about this transaction...

Sox it to them, baby!!!
