cant search? "disabled by administrator"?

i got on techimo this morning and tried to do a search of the forums and message came up saying something like "this function has been disabled by administrator. also, i clicked on the "view your recent posts" link and same thing happened. these messages are not coming from my computer, it is part of the techimo web page. did i miss something? is anybody else having this problem?
