Poor Customer service from Epson..dishonest

I bought an Epson printer 6000 about 9 months ago. It prints very well. I set the print to "black only" so it would not use color ink. I had to reorder ink cartridges a couple of times, however, this last purchase, November 2008, I ordered 4 new cartridges. Within 2 weeks all 3 color cartridges were empty. I called Epson tech support. I landed in another country where their understanding of English was less than acceptable. They would not exchange the color cartridges for new ones. They told me there was chip defect indicating empty cartridges and said it would get better. Epson company STOLE MY MONEY BY TAKING FULL PAYMENT AND YET SHIPPING 3/4 EMPTY COLOR CARTRIDGES. I called customer relations and they said they would have to check into this. I called back 2 weeks later and nothing was done. Again, they would not exchange the color cartridges for new ones that should have been full. I will not support a company who out-sources to another country and does not support North American people and employ them. Epson's people were nice, but their customer service was terrible. If you want your money stolen, they know how.:

Exactly what is your question here?
I got a few that you could answer.

How many prints did you get with each of the cartridges before the ink "dried".
And the chip defect indicating empty cartridges.
You should be able to ignore the message with a 3rd party application.
SSC Service Utility for Epson Stylus Printer.
Make sure your model number is specified
If you need further support with that software. Talk to them in there forums.

I have not had any problem with customer services...

They have responded well whenever I have contacted them...
