I suggest you to re install your OS if you wasn't able to delete the virus, other wise it can come active.

Doing a restore may be a "quick fix" but that trojan is still there. You should have anti-virus and anti-spyware scanners along with HijackThis - that you can run and save the log as a notepad document.

I use AVG a/v along with Stinger stand alone (can find on McAfee's site), along with Spybot Search & Destroy, Spywareblaster and HijackThis. Keep everything updated and your immunizations updated too.

Now, to try to get rid of your problem. First, if you don't have your scanners, get them, install them, update them. Run HijackThis, save the log. Then, Right Click on My Computer, go to the System Restore tab. Put a checkmark in Turn off System Restore. Apply, ok.

Reboot, hit F8 or whatever key on your computer to go into Safe Mode. Once you're on your desktop (and yes, it will look funny) run all your scans - and run full system scans, not quick scans. Then run HijackThis again, save the log and compare the one before scanning and the one after scanning.

If you find that the trojan is gone (scanners picked it up, got rid of it and HijackThis isn't showing anything), reboot normally. RClick My Computer, System Restore, now you want to Turn ON System Restore and set a new restore point.

If the above doesn't work, you can go to the Spybot help forum. They have a section devoted to helping people get rid of nasty bugs. You will need a HighjackThis log for them to really help you.

Good luck!
